PUBLIC NOTICE TO THE CITIZENS OF TALIAFERRO COUNTY Board of Education – District Two Seat Vacancy Taliaferro County Board of Education announces a vacancy for its District 2 Board Member seat due to the death of Board Member James B. Wynn. The board has opened the application process to appoint a new board member to complete the board member term through December 31, 2026. Anyone residing in District Two interested in applying for the school board member appointment should contact Dr. Andreana Jones, Superintendent of Taliaferro County Schools at ajones@taliaferro.k12.ga.us or pick up an application at the front office of the school. The application deadline is July 11, 2025
