Using Live-Streaming to Engage Students

Posted by Scott Arenal in Technology  |  Post a comment

When students miss class, they miss content. A way to work around that is to use podcasts and live-streaming to engage students that miss class--as an added benefit, those that do come to class can use the materials as a review. Podcasts can be made using a simple recording system and then uploaded to iTunes. Another method is to use YouTube to record your voice over a slide-show, video, or other media and have that video uploaded for your students to view. If you're feeling brave, you can record your classes or prepare a specialized presentation.

I will update this page with examples soon.
